I got to do something this year that I have always dreamed of doing....go to Disneyworld with my daughter. Only bad thing was that we had to leave the baby at home, but in hindsight, it was really the best decision. We were able to spend some quality time with Emily and we made memories that will truly last a lifetime.
I know it sounds corny, but when we rounded the corner and began to walk down Main Street at Disney, I just choked up. It's goofy I know(pun intended), but it really is the most magical place on earth. Cinderella's Castle was so beautiful! I have been to Disneyworld before, but the best part was, now that we have children, seeing it through a child's eyes. I must say, I do believe I was more excited than Emily.
You can't leave Disneyworld without Mouse ears. Since Gracie got the raw deal of not being able to go with us, she got the best Mouse ears they had. We also had to promise to take her when she grows up. It looks like she forgave us for leaving her.
That is just so sweet!
ReplyDeleteAwwww....I love, love, love Disney World. We just went in May, and even with all the horrible rain we had, it was still the most magical place on Earth! I will pray that when you take Gracie back one day, you'll get choked up seeing it all with her for the first time. You have a precious family!
